"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is among the most well known wrestlers in the world and has been one of wrestling's biggest stars since the late 1970's. Flair is recognized by WWE as a 16-time World Heavyweight Champion. According to WWE, Flair is an eight-time NWA Champion, six-time WCW Champion and two-time WWE Champion. Ric Flair was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008. Ric has even added the inscription WWE 16X which stand for how many championships he has won. Eric Bischoff pushed Vince McMahon further to the limit than any one else in professional wrestling. He was the WCW President from 1994 to 1999 and is the only wrestling promoter to successfully overtake Vince McMahon's promotion in terms of popularity. Bischoff's tactics paid off as Nitro defeated Raw in the weekly ratings for 86 straight weeks.
